Natural Systems Coaching: Immersive Encounter 2026

19th–20th September 2026 | Emerson College, East Sussex

A two-day leadership encounter for leaders navigating complexity, purpose, and systemic transformation

We are delighted to announce that our next Natural Systems Coaching Immersive Encounter will take place on 19th and 20th September 2026 at the beautiful Emerson College in East Sussex.

Nestled within the South Downs National Park, Emerson College offers a unique setting that invites reflection, connection, and renewal. Surrounded by nature and steeped in a tradition of holistic learning, it provides the ideal environment to step away from the demands of everyday life and reconnect with yourself, others, and the wider systems of which we are a part.

Over two days, participants will experience an immersive journey into the principles and practices of Natural Systems Coaching. Through a blend of experiential learning, reflective practice, outdoor exploration, coaching conversations, and group dialogue, we will explore how individuals, organisations, communities, and ecosystems are interconnected.

The encounter is designed for leaders and change-makers who are seeking more regenerative, relational, and sustainable ways of working and being. Whether you are new to Natural Systems Coaching or looking to deepen your practice, this immersive experience offers space to slow down, gain fresh perspectives, and cultivate meaningful connections.

Day 1 — Leading Internal Living Systems

Theme: Embodied Spiritual Leadership

Morning: Crossing the Threshold. Arrive gently with music, tea, and reflective prompts. Establish psychological safety and relational agreements in the Opening Circle, then begin mapping the systems that shape your leadership landscape.

Midday: Integrating Mind, Body, and System. Discover the Integrated Systems Methodology, which demonstrates how quieting the ego opens access to collaboration and emergence as tools for dealing with complexity. Engage in somatic practices that connect mind and body, exploring how complexity manifests physically.

Afternoon: Leadership as Spiritual Practice. Through contemplative walks, visioning and biomimicry, reconnect with purpose and meaning. Reflect on what your leadership feeds, what is depleted, and what wants restoring.

Evening: Camp Fire & Storytelling Session (Optional). Gather around a campfire for storytelling and nature immersion as gateways for learning from ancestral wisdom and mythic patterns.

Day 2 — Leading External Living Systems

Theme: Relational, Emergence & Adaptive Leadership

Morning: Relational Intelligence. Explore dialogue under tension, systems listening, and relational repair. Practise deep listening and inquiry to reveal unspoken dynamics and systemic narratives.

Midday: Integrating Living Systems. Work with complexity and paradoxes and learn to hold them creatively through embodied spatial exercises. Discover the Living Systems Organisation Framework, which demonstrates how organisations succeed with complexity not through control but through connection, responsiveness and continual renewal.

Afternoon: Integration & Reflection Gather insights on how leadership can nourish people, systems, and the planet. Leave with renewed clarity, grounded presence, and actionable wisdom.

Why Leadership Encounters Work

Leadership Encounters create a safe environment where you can slow down, think deeply, and reconnect with what matters. They help you move from reacting to leading, from overwhelm to clarity, and from isolation to connection.

As part of our commitment to evidence-based practice, you will have the opportunity to opt-in in our ongoing research. This enables us to continually evaluate, refine, and strengthen what we offer.

If you would like to take part in the research element of the Encounter, please get in touch.
